Dare to Worship is a challenge God gave me during a time in my life where I felt alone, lost, and felt my world had turned upside down. The "dare" was to inspire me to worship Him (God) despite of my circumstances. God challenged me to trust Him in a way I had never trusted Him before. It was a challenge to find my identity in Him and not let my situation define me.

 

Worship began to be my weapon of warfare. In 2 Chronicles 20:21-30, when the people began singing and worshiping it caused the hand of God to move on their behalf. The Bible says as they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against their enemy and they were defeated. And like the people seeking a break through, I needed God to rescue me. I needed peace, comfort, security, and protection. When I chose to take the focus off of my situation and place the focus back on God, that's when things began to shift in my life.

 

D2W takes a form of a concert, but it's really a call to go higher. Experiencing God in a greater way, trusting Him and then seeing His salvation. The same challenge God "dared" me, is now what I dare to you. I'm confident just as he brought me out, He will do the same for you. Do you accept the challenge?
